As the ticking clock reminds you, only 60 minutes remain to complete this oh-so-important predictor of your future. But you didn't get the review sheets, the teacher doesn't like you and your classmates are blatantly cheating. Time passes and the voices in your head remind you that though you are having trouble with the test, your personal life is far, far worse. Then you reach the essay question. The good news—it's an opinion essay. The bad news—it's in Chinese. And things aren't going to get better! Join us for this hilarious journey through a students worst nightmare!
Our Centre Stage program embraces a diverse community and is open to students in 7th through 12th grade. With a focus on process-based theatre, Centre Stage invites students to enhance their current skills with challenging scripts that expand on movement, characterization, vocal technique, with an overall goal of achieving greater self-esteem and encouraging inclusion and personal confidence.
This is a fully costumed, staged production with all students receiving a speaking role in the production.
All classes are in-person following current CDC guidelines. Should guidelines require a return to virtual activities, we will continue to produce the entire play through our virtual ZOOM classroom.
Tuition: $175
