The beautiful, orphaned princess, Snow White, lives with her jealous stepmother, the Queen, who treats her as a servant. One day, a Prince overhears Snow White singing and comes to meet her. He falls in love with her sweet nature and beautiful voice and promises to visit again. In the meantime, the Queen’s magical mirror has declared Snow White to be “the fairest in the land”, and the Queen has sent Snow White into the forest with her huntsman, who is under orders to kill the princess! Snow White flees deeper into the forest where the animals and forest fairies befriend her and take her to the cottage of the Seven Dwarfs. The Dwarfs grow to love her and care for her, and all seems well—but can Snow White escape her evil stepmother forever? We hope you will join us for the retelling of this delightful, classic fairy tale, based on the story by the Brothers Grimm!
From novice to seasoned actor, our after-school program offers a well-rounded approach to children's theatre. Audition skills are introduced and refined. Creative movement, vocal control, memory, acting technique and group cooperation are fostered throughout the nine weeks of rehearsal. Participants learn songs and dance choreography that will be used in the show. And of course, all the fun culminates in a FREE fully-costumed performance where they can't wait to show off all they've learned!
