Upcoming Queen of Peace location production:
Puss in Boots
Odilon the Ogre has been tormenting the people of the French village of Martinique; whatever shall they do?! A family of siblings loses their father, but all he leaves the youngest, Jacques, is some fancy boots and his lazy cat . . . or maybe the cat isn’t so lazy after all? Maybe he’s a talking, sword-fighting, clever, feline hero! With Puss in Boots at his side, Jacque meets adventure and surprises at every turn, including friendship with a Princess! Could he even be the one to save his beloved town from the bumbling Odilon with the help of Puss’s daring-do attitude and ingenious plans? Come be a part of the adventure by joining us for Chat Botte: Puss in Boots!
From novice to seasoned actor, our after-school program offers a well-rounded approach to children's theatre. Audition skills are introduced and refined. Creative movement, vocal control, memory, acting technique and group cooperation are fostered throughout the eight weeks of rehearsal. Participants learn songs and dance choreography that will be used in the show. And of course, all the fun culminates in a FREE fully-costumed performance where they can't wait to show off all they've learned!
Enrollment is open to anyone in grades 1-8 (not just for Queen of Peace students!)
Tuition: $260 / 8 weeks
