Upcoming Edgewood College location production:
Peter Rabbit and Friends: The Rest of the Story!
Remember Peter Rabbit? How he almost got caught by Mr. McGregor and lost his little blue jacket? Well First Act did some “sleuthing” and we found out the rest of the story! When Mr. McGregor’s grandson, Gregory, comes for a visit and meets young Beatrix, he has no idea that her best friends are animals—something he detests. Join us for a rollicking romp as Peter Rabbit along with Benjamin Bunny, Flopsy, Mopsy, Cottontail, and a host of other friends decide it’s time to “get even”! The famous world of author Beatrix Potter comes alive in this original comedy by Susan Nanning-Sorenson as we recreate beloved characters including Jemima Puddleduck, Jeremy Fisher, Pigling Bland, Mrs. Tiggy Winkle, Tom Kitten, Squirrel Nutkin, and many more!
From novice to seasoned actor, our after-school program offers a well-rounded approach to children's theatre. Audition skills are introduced and refined. Creative movement, vocal control, memory, acting technique and group cooperation are fostered throughout the nine weeks of rehearsal. Participants learn songs and dance choreography and learn about props and sets as they create a prop or set piece that will be used in the show. And of course, all the fun culminates in a FREE fully-costumed performance where they can't wait to show off all they've learned!
Enrollment is open to anyone in grades 1-8 (not just for Edgewood students!)
Tuition: $290 / 10 weeks

We will do our best to accommodate as many people as possible, but seating capacity at our performance venue is limited. More details will be provided closer to the performance date.
