as of April 10, 2020
At this time, First Act has made no changes to our Summer Camp schedule. We’re closely monitoring the situation, and, if faced with changes, we will alert you on this page as soon as possible.
We are still accepting registrations for all summer camps!
COVID-19 Cancellation Policy
In the event that First Act Children's Theatre must cancel one or more of our Summer Camps due to factors arising from the novel coronavirus, you may choose from the following options:
- a credit to your account for 100% of your original payment, to be applied toward a future program – no action is needed for this option
- donate part or all of the value of your tuition to support First Act's mission
- a full refund, less an $18.44 processing fee to cover the nonrefundable costs First Act incurs from Active Network to process our registrations and payments
The tuition that is paid for our programs covers many things far beyond the immediate face to face contact we have with our students during our programs. We work year-round—planning far ahead of each program by writing scripts, designing and building costumes, creating scenery, keeping up with public relations and our website and registrations, communicating with schools and community, fundraising, and training our staff to be the best they can be. Tuition and any donations you may be comfortable with is our only income that supports all that we do. Thank you for your support!
Standard Refund/Cancellation Policy
Cancellations by registrants up to two weeks prior to class start date will be refunded in full, less a $40 registration fee. By two weeks before camp, we have already contracted with the appropriate number of staff required , and have invested in costume and project supplies for the number of students registered. Therefore, cancellations made less than two weeks before the camp start date will be non-refundable.
